The house

Room to actually
be together

Most houses that sleep a crowd do it by putting air mattresses on a floor. This one has sixteen real beds in six bedrooms, and enough rooms between them that twenty-six people are not standing in each other's way.

It was set up for the gatherings that need a few days rather than an afternoon — family reunions, church groups, retreats, and the weekend around a wedding. Everyone sleeps under one roof, sits down at one table, and ends up in the same room at night without anyone having booked a hotel.

01

A private theater

Two tiered rows of real reclining seats with cup holders, facing a full projection screen. Not a television on a wall. There is a popcorn cart.

02

The game room

A full pool table, a felt poker table, and booth seating around the edge — room to play and room to sit and watch, which matters with a crowd.

03

A kitchen built for a crowd

Cabinets along three walls, granite counters and a center island with its own sink, so more than one person can cook at once — and a dining table that seats eight next door. Washer and dryer on site.

04

Open acreage and a pond

Mown lawn to the treeline, a gravel drive in, and a pond beyond the pines. Quiet, dark at night, and plenty of parking. Fishing only — no swimming, no boats.

The grounds

A pond, pines,
and no one else

Open acreage, mown to the treeline, with the water sitting just beyond the pines. The pond is for fishing only — no swimming, no boats. It gets properly dark out here at night.
